Georges Topfer, L'Avatar de Lucette

Georges Topfer was a French spanking artist from the late 1910s to the mid-1930s. Topfer often used the pseudonyms Gaston Smit, G. Smit, GTS and James Barclay. Below are his illustrations from the 1921 novel L’Avatar de Lucette (Lucette’s Avatar) by James Lovebirch, which was first published in 1913 and featured illustrations by artist Lewis Bald.

“She was already crimson, from the slaps and the stroke of the rods, the latter having drawn fine stripes of a beautiful bright red there. Mrs Fromes, with her left hand, pinched Rowena’s ear to keep it bent and better to reach the quivering buttocks…Then she whipped.”
