Married to a vanilla.

I’ve never kept the fact that I am married to a vanilla a secret. I didn’t think I needed to. I honestly didn’t think that it mattered that much, but as it turns out people are overly curious and ask a lot of questions. Some questions are normal, but most are incredibly intrusive or just flat out rude…

Your spouse really allows you to do this? Does you being a spanko cause issues in your marriage? Does your spouse know you are a spanko? When did you tell them you were a spanko? Does your spouse spank you? Do you spank your spouse? Do you have a ‘normal’ sex life? How long have you and your spouse been together? Would you give up spanking if your spouse asked you to? Do you have an open marriage? Do you need your spouse’s permission to participate in spanking play? Do you think you will regret not marrying a spanko?

I have been told that my marriage isn’t “serious” because we do not share a fascination with spanking. It has been implied that I am not a committed spanko because I married a vanilla.

On one hand, I think it is important for people to know that vanilla/spanko relationships are not always a formula for disaster. On the other hand, I don’t like having to defend myself for being in love with my spouse, who happens to be vanilla.
