Portraits of the Naughty: Photos and Audio
Welcome back to Wednesdays with Gin, where every Wednesday I share a new post on Smiles and Spanks. This week, I’m talking about consent when it comes to taking photos and recording audio during a spanking session.
I'm often asked by spankees if I'd be willing to take photos during or after a spanking session. The answer is yes, as long as it doesn’t disrupt our session. By that I mean, I am not a photographer, my sessions are not photo shoots, my focus is first and foremost on the spankee and the spanking.
I also occasionally receive requests to record video during the spanking session, and that is a hard no. The hardest of nos. Don't even ask, as there are no exceptions when it comes to video.
Audio, however, is something I love, and I am always happy to record a bit of audio as long as I feel it doesn’t interfere with the spanking. To me, having just the audio leaves much to the listener’s imagination, while still capturing the essence and intensity of the experience. And it just feels more natural.
Most of the time, the photos I take and the audio I record remain completely private. Once I've sent them to the spankee, I delete them from my devices. It is only at the request and with full permission from the spankee that I share the spankee’s session photos and/or audio files here on my blog, FetLife, Twitter, or Instagram.
So, if you want a photo or audio, you’ll have to ask. And if you want me to share anything on social media, you’ll need to ask me to do that as well, because I’m not going to ask you. If you want me to take photos or record audio just for you and you don’t want it posted anywhere, that is of course completely fine!
Also, I do not need to take photos or record audio, so I will not be disappointed if you do not request these things. What matters most to me is giving the spankee the spanking they desire.
