My Sessions, My Choice
Welcome back to Wednesdays with Gin, where every Wednesday I share a new post on Smiles and Spanks. This week’s post is about a message that I occasionally have to send to individuals, which makes them lose their goddamn fucking minds. Here is the message:
Thank you for reaching out, but I do not think we would be a good fit for a spanking session. I wish you the best in your search.
Lately, I have been dealing with an increasing amount of hate and aggression from people simply because I have sent them the above message saying that I don't want to have a spanking session with them.
I have been called strange. I have been called damaged. I have been called a stupid bitch. I have had people continuously message me on multiple platforms, trying to get me to engage in an argument about my decision not to see them for a spanking session and trying to pressure me into changing my mind.
I have even had people threaten to report my social media accounts and try to get my blog and website shut down. I have had people threaten to find out “who I am” so they can “out me” and report me to “local authorities”.
All because I said no.
People have been telling me that rejecting them will be my downfall. That because I rejected them, I will never be successful and that I will fail.
Quite honestly, I would rather fail and be unsuccessful than compromise my boundaries. If succeeding means going against the way I view spanking and the way I choose to conduct my sessions, then I'd rather not succeed.
NaturallyGin is about spanking. I am a spanko, a spanker, and a disciplinarian. I am not a dominatrix or a mistress. I don't offer role play, sexual services, or dungeon play. You cannot spank me. I do not wear BDSM gear. I will not engage in discussions about spanking play involving minors, and I will not allow age regression in my spanking sessions.
I have had people message me saying, “There is no harm in asking, right?” But when I have already made my boundaries very clear, there absolutely is a problem with asking me to make an exception for something I have explicitly said I don't offer. If you have read that I don't do something and you ask me to make an exception anyway, you are showing me that you don't understand or respect my boundaries.
And more importantly, if someone is making me uncomfortable and is harassing me to engage in activities I have no interest in, then why would I put myself in a situation where I would be alone with that person?
So, bottom line, if I tell you that I don't think we're well suited for a session, accept that and move on. I can’t stop people from threatening me, harassing me, or calling me horrific names, but I can choose who I have sessions with based on my own personal preferences.
I have always been incredibly clear that my spanking sessions are completely non-sexual, but if you are still unable to grasp what non-sexual means, then I suggest you read this post: My Spanking Sessions Are Not Sexual.
I have also written about how to contact me here: Contacting Me: The Right Way (and the Wrong Way).
And finally, remember that it is my decision whether I want to have a session with you, just as it is your decision whether you want to have a session with me. It has to work both ways. You can read more about that in this post: Your Decision, Not Mine.
As always, if there's a topic you'd like me to cover in a future post, or if you'd like to inquire about a session, feel free to email me at NaturallyGin@gmail.com.
Thanks for reading, and see you again next Wednesday!
